Bring on 2012

"

There comes a time in life where you have to choose.

Where you reach a realization that you cannot change people, the only thing you can truly change is yourself, or actually the way you look at life.

A wise person said "Life is 10% your circumstances and 90% how you react to it"

We have had a crappy 2 years, worse that worst. It all started in 2010 when I got extremely ill, doctors told me that it was a next to impossible for a person to survive without serious complications, but I did.

The devastation for me, or for us as a family was that absolutely no-one cared. Of if they did, they didn't care to show it to me.

We were twice the past year presented with enormous challenges.
Again, zero response.

Something just clicked in me just before 2012 started.

Enough of all the nay-sayers, of all the "please enrich my life with your funny anecdotes and words of encouragement, but I will still keep on not invite you to the fun parts of my life, because I simply have so many friends that you don't fit" - people that I think many of us have around us (I certainly do!)

We are off on our adventure.
It starts today.

The adventure is to choose only what drives you forward, what makes you happy.
A happiness that spreads like ripples on a pond, for all those who are willing to perceive them.
To choose only those who want to join you on the ride.
(this is the new part of my life)
We will leave everyone who doesn't want to enjoy life with us behind.

I am burning bridges, I have already mourned relationships that are forever broken

I feel free
There are an abundance of new bridges to be built, but the opportunity to find new bridges never presents itself, are you constantly occupied with repairing old crappy ones.

I am aiming for the sky, I want to capture every little ordinary moment of life as well as finding shelter in the love of my nearest and dearest.

I want to celebrate my family
I want to celebrate my life

Bring on 2012!
It's a new me.
a new life.

Everyday is an opportunity.

Are you in for the ride?

PS. Through my years of blogging, I have experienced such amazing encouragement, shared joy, enlightment, wisdom, the list can go on and on, and this year, I am definitely choosing YOU. I need this, I need my camera to show me what is important in life and taking part in your precious moments, ups and downs.
