EFIT (One Photo Per Hour)

EFIT iron

This is my EFIT for Monday November 12. I was just going to post this when I realized that today is the next EFIT (which I completely missed), so I hope you are ok to view my last EFIT day instead. Today I am going out to the countryside to meet with an agent *work* and what better day to bring my camera along?

7.45 A last touching up of my clothes with the iron.

Leaving city

8.45 I am on my way out of city, sitting in a traffic jam, but not really bothered, I am enjoying the off-kids time, singing along to the radio and enjoying the beautiful weather...

Photobucket

9.45 I arrive (amazingly enough, I found my way here!) 15 minutes early and I take a little stroll around the house. There is a pretty church opposite the hall, so I decide to go to the church yard afterwards with my camera.

EFIT

10.45 Still in my meeting in this house.

Photobucket

12.00 Meeting is finished and I take a stroll around the village church. I took lots of pictures, but this was one of the first. It's a bit overexposed, because I stood under this massive tree, but I still think it's a pretty photo.

Photobucket

13.00 On my way back to the city, on small winding roads in the English countryside. Snapped in a hurry.

LCHF snack

14.00 Living a low-carb (LCHF) life since April this year, I stopped at a petrol station and bought my lunch. A fruit corner without the fruit corner *ie just the yogurt*, full milk and Cathedral City cheesesticks without the dip.

Photobucket

15.20 Coming out of the hospital entrence, been to my ENT consultant (Ear Nose and Throat), discussing the results of the CT scan of my sinuses. (Looks OK, he thinks that I have an inflammed nerve)

Photobucket

16.20 Back home and I we turn our attention to the store room that is now going to be turned into a nice guest room. Not a pretty sight to begin with, but I will take some photos tomorrow to show you how it turned out.

Photobucket

19.00 The rest of the day and evening, we work on clearing the guest room, so not much more happening. Part from O finding my mobile phone! He found it in a removal box, from our last move...I haven't seen it since July 2007 and now it turns up in November 2008! *Sofia, I can receive SMS again!!*

EFIT 5 October 2008 (One Photo per Hour) + 366

This past Sunday, I thought it was time I had another go at the EFIT project. For you who don't know what it is, it is a Swedish photo project. EFIT is short for Ett Foto I Timmen, which means. One photo per hour. I had hoped that we would have a great day doing family things and cooking fabulous food, but no. So, here is a normal plain Sunday in my life.

If you are a Swedish visitor, I am just as happy to receive comments in Swedish (vill du kommentera på svenska är du välkommen att göra så.) :)

Photobucket

10.06 I wake up after a well-needed sleep-in. Both children have been up during the night and the last time I was upstairs with them was 4.30.. (yes, realizing now that you shouldn't take pictures of your crome taps seconds before you hit the shower, but I have zoomed this one and it's safe to post!)

Photobucket

11.20 We are out of coffee, so I have some yogurt and a finncrisp for breakfast. A working breakfast by the computer, telephone and other things officy.

Photobucket

12.20 Still working and I motivate O to put our venetian blinds up. This is the window, when he starts.

Photobucket

13.25 Job done and J inspect daddy's work. (I am really pleased!)

Photobucket

14.25 With the living room being so cosy, we feel an urge for buying a telly. We shouldn't, but are just going to have a look...before we leave I spend roughly 35 minutes looking through most our boxes to find the children's new rain coats. I finally find them and we're off!

Photobucket
366: 227 Blur

4.30 Going from one store to another, we drive though a beautiful park.

Photobucket

6.30 No TV *store closed just as we arrived*, realizing all bigger grocery stores had closed we went to a local Sainsbury's. As we were getting in the car, the kids noticed this "castle". They were very impressed.

Photobucket

7.30 Back home I get the honour of doing a test drive with our new family member, Hetty.

Photobucket

8.30 We all have dinner together with "mysljus" (cosy lighting). Children are very tired (and so are we!), so I forget about the EFIT during our bedtime routine.

Photobucket

23.00 After getting the children in bed, I work for about 1h before we go to bed. Now I am in bed watching an all time favorite our ours. Svensson, Svensson, a swedish sitcom *O falls asleep after ca 10 minutes and I switch on Desperate Housewives, which I fall asleep to*

I hope you have enjoyed my EFIT day!

EFIT 18 February 2008

At 6.50 C came into me and asked me something. He was already up and was in full swing of assembling his new Scooby Doo 3D board game *I promised last night we would do it today*. I went to the kitchen to give him something to eat and then went to bed again at 7.11 (J still sleeping)

8.20 C tells me J is awake, I must have fallen asleep really well, I didn't hear her. She always sits in her bed calling for us without getting up, even though we've taken the side of her cot bed out. This morning she was calling for daddy. I still am in bed, taking this picture out the window. The sun is rising and it looks like we have a lovely day ahead.

9.10 Children are playing nicely in Cs room with our drawing travel kits that we bought yesterday (only colours on the paper they are writing on)

10.30 Time for coffee and the new John Lewis catalogue. C is mermerized by the Scooby Doo game and is playing with J (taking turns for both), although she is not there. She is watching "Go Diego Go" with a bottle of milk. *bliss*

12.22 After loosing track of time completely, I have to make a mad dash for the parking meter. 22minutes late, I still have not received any penalty! *big sigh of relief*

I just thought of something as I was writing this post. Even though we live in the city, a couple of people seem to have noticed me and my children on our daily adventures. Twice the past weeks a couple of persons have made comments of recognizing me. I was just thinking, how it looked today, when I came running out of the house like a mad woman, furry (fake off course) coat, pale pink crocs on feet and a camera around my neck. Dashing towards the parking meter only to stop in front of it to take a picture...

13.30 J playing with beads.

14.30 I am Velma, lost in the hands of Green Skin Monster, Master of Skies...

15.30 Arriving at the park. I am not joking here, I have passed these gates around 30 times the past 3 monts and I have never looked up (it's usually after drop off at school in the morning, but still!) How did I miss these beautiful lions? The children were running towards the playground so I just snapped it, will do a better try another day.

16.25 When leaving the park, I make sure the children run off their last steam. When we arrive at the car we have a little surprise. It doesn't start... So a nice man exchanges some coins for me, we fill the parking meter until tomorrow at 13.29 and we walk home.

17.30 Arriving home. I am not pleased with myself taking my high (ish) heeled boots to the playground. *Note to self: Always keep comfy pair of shoes in car in case of walking event...*

18.30 Very tired. Managed to iron a pearl plate for 7 minutes without noticing that it wasn't even plugged in. I even photographed myself doing it. The iron is cold here!

19.25 J insists on serving me a cup of tea before she goes to bed. She usually insists on everything at this time of the day, but this evening I don't have the energy to fight it. 12 minutes later she is fast asleep and I go to the kitchen for another game of Scobby Doo..

21.00 C has been sleeping for half an hour and I call O to tell him about my day. He thinks that the locking mechanism for starting the car might be jammed. Oh great, I'll just go there tomorrow then and try to unlock it.

Hope that you have enjoyed my EFIT (Swedish for One Photo Per Hour). I am actually quite happy it's over. Going to jump into bed now and watch Brothers and Sisters, my husband's away series.

EFIT 1 Feb 2008

Yes! It's an EFIT *One photo an hour* day today, I have a camera and I remebered!
7.34 I get a sleep-in this morning. I join C at the breakfast table doing a last run with the homework. (This oil cloth was one of things I a few thing I had on my wish list to Santa..I told my dad I wanted something "non-fussy", clean lines, like Marimekko...

8.38 Checking my "coffee blogs", what has Sofia been up to lately? No coffee, though. Waiting for O returning from school run.

9.35 Time for my first horisontal session of the day.

10.35 My sinuses are not co-operating today, still in bed.
I love the original window shutters that our rental flat has. I would love to paint them crisp white.

11.35. Seriously, this is not looking good. In quite amount of pain and O has a telephone conference, so I am accompanied by bouncy toddler insisting on watching Flushed away. I am feeling as happy as the mouse on the screen.

12.35 Guess where I am. Quite depressing, so no pictures this hour. Calling my doctor, who prescribes some serious pain killers which I can pick up later today.

14.35 Back on track. After some pain killers and a shower, on our way to pick up C from school
.
15.35 Having a nap with J in the car while the boys are shopping from groceries.

16.35 Popping round my GPs surgery to get my prescription.

17.35 C prepares our Friday Fun. We are having a little party to celebrate that he has tried so hard at school to play with all the children this week.

18.30 Cs new favorite, Twister. I cannot play, so I get to choose where they should put their hands and feet..

19.35 C is reading a bed time story for J.

22.35 Awake again after falling asleep on Cs bed at 8, while O was fixing with electrical cords. My husband is still smiling although he has been waiting for me to update the blog. We are going to watch 1408.

I hope you have enjoyed my day, have a great weekend!

My first EFIT / OPPH

Inspired by Boel in Brunei, I decided to have a go with an EFIT projekt. EFIT means Ett Foto i Timmen, translated One Photo Per Hour. Welcome to a day of my life:
7.13 Ironing Cs shirt, I went up at 6.30, but only remembered my EFIT by the ironing board. The children are still asleep, so it is a nice and quiet moment.. I am thinking about O who has probably touched ground in the big city by now (he left at 5am).

8.13 J och C on their way to our car. Time for school!

9.17 back again and J stands very nicely by the garden fence while I get the buggy out of the car boot.

10.25 after 1h of playdoughing, J watches TV and I check out how we did yesterday on the internet.

11.19 J is brave enough to play with Cs TRex. She is sticking her finger in it's mouth and then presses the remote, so the mouth closes with a growl..
(note, angle of camera, I am still in my comfy chair..)

12.23 J is in bed and I have just had a round to the parking meter, peaking into the private park that we we've been promised keys to.

13.11 Working, while J is is bed refusing to sleep

14.24 J has an unexpected shower as she decided to have a little nappy disaster just as we were on our way out the door.

15.17 From the car on our way home from school. I was actually going to take a picture of the city landmark, but it was to grey so I took a picture across the street instead, of some winter trees.

16.37 Dinner Pyttipanna from IKEA

17.29 I had a weak and overly postive moment yesterday, when I promised C we would make pepparkakor (gingerbread biscuits) today. The dough is from IKEA, but still. Children thought it was great fun, though!
(but I have to find the rolling pin until Grandma arrives before Christmas..and the aprons..)

18.09 Time for the Lego calendar, ginger bread biscuits and Julkalendern at svt.

19.17 I am speaking with O on the phone when I hear the children playing in the hallway. When I am finished I find J walking on a pile of flat packs in my 2inch (6cm) boots! *gulp* "J e Tant Surtant" ("J is Lady Grumpylady", a witch from a Swedish Children's programme on SVT), (Haxan Surtant pa SVT)

20.33 Children are in bed and I sit down for a work session. When I start coughing, J wakes up again and I get so frustrated I tell her I am actually brushing my teeth and if she doesn't lie quietly in her bed I won't be able to sleep and mummy is soooo tired. Then I go into the kitchen and open a "Swedish Fish" bag from IKEA.

21.22 It is now quiet again and I get some work done. I usually do this while skyping with O, but I don't have skype installed at the moment. We are emailing a bit though before he heads for his hotel.

22.45 Finished working for today. Put the TV on record for Julkalendern, pack Cs bag. He is going to be a shepherd on Thursday and *thankfully* it doesn't involve any sewing, he will wear a stripey top and black trousers. The rest of the outfit, I am going to let the school kit him out with.

I was planning on a luxurious evening in our new bed with laptop and some leasure browsing, but I am to exhausted to even contemplate bringing my new red friend. So I say good night and hope you have enjoyed my day. Have a good Dec 12!
